They’re back… the beautiful Echinaceas!
Every summer they bring colour, strength and character to our nursery and to the gardens of our customers.
Did you know the name “Echinacea” comes from the Greek word echinos, meaning “hedgehog”?
A playful reference to the spiky, rounded flower centres.
But this perennial is far from prickly.
With sturdy stems, abundant blooms and eye catching colours, Echinacea is a true showstopper in any garden.
Maybe you’ve heard of Echinacea Forte, the tablets that are said to support the immune system?
Species like Echinacea purpurea and angustifolia have been used in herbal medicine for centuries.
They’re known for their potential immune boosting and anti-inflammatory properties.
In the garden, Echinacea shines in all the ways we love:
Drought-tolerant and resilient.
A magnet for bees, butterflies and other beneficial insects.
And it keeps blooming well into the season.
We’re proud of our Echinaceas and they’re looking fantastic again!
Curious? You’re very welcome to visit us on the Knibbelweg and see them for yourself.
