Growth, care and pride!

At our nursery on the Knibbelweg, there’s more happening than just growing plants.
It’s a place where craftsmanship, pride, and a love for nature come together
which was clearly visible again this week.

From perennials to autumn beauty
Our team at Knibbelweg 27 is working with full energy on the transformation from a perennial location
to a colourful Calluna and Erica site.
It’s impressive to see how a new phase is being prepared with such care and dedication.
The autumn bloomers are being laid out, and the site is slowly transforming into a rich autumn scene.
A touch of Germany on the Knibbelweg.
Thanks to our colleague Catalin for capturing these moments.

New residents in the old orchard
Elsewhere on our nursery, where we once had our orchard, we deliberately left one large poplar standing
especially for our feathered guests, the kestrel family.
And once again this year, we were happily surprised.
Five baby kestrels were born and ringed.
A beautiful sight, every single time.

We hope they’ll soon be out hunting mice and contributing to the natural balance
on our nursery grounds. At Van Woudenberg, it’s not just about plants but also about respect
for the environment in which we work from soil to biodiversity.
