{"id":781,"date":"2023-12-21T16:15:02","date_gmt":"2023-12-21T15:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vwtuinplanten.nl\/?post_type=news&#038;p=781"},"modified":"2024-12-19T21:46:31","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T20:46:31","slug":"typisch-kerst","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/vwtuinplanten.nl\/en\/blog\/news\/typisch-kerst\/","title":{"rendered":"Typical Christmas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just before Christmas, everyone has already decorated their home, garden, and\/or balcony in festive spirit,<br \/>\nbut not everyone has their Christmas gifts yet.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s why we want to highlight some typical Christmas plants that we love because they make wonderful gifts,<br \/>\neven though they are not our products, we love all plants.<\/p>\n<p>The best-known Christmas plant is the poinsettia, whose leaves resemble large flowers.<br \/>\nA few poinsettias in a wicker basket look beautiful in any home, and with the right care, you can enjoy them for quite a while.<br \/>\nThe best care is to submerge them in water once a week so the soil can absorb it well.<\/p>\n<p>Holly is a Christmas plant with red berries that grows in the garden. You can use pieces of it in Christmas arrangements,<br \/>\nor a sprig in a lovely Christmas bouquet also works well.<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s the Amaryllis, a bulb plant with large trumpet-shaped flowers.<br \/>\nIt blooms in the winter months and comes in various colors.<br \/>\nCombine it with a few fir branches, and you have a stunning Christmas bouquet.<\/p>\n<p>Last but not least&#8230; the Christmas tree.
